Summary
Hello! I'm Akane, born in 1998, based in Portugal.
Drawing has been the most consistent thing I’ve ever done throughout my existence.
Studied Visual Arts until 2017, which gave me a solid ground to further develop my skills.
Since I was a teen, I’ve always wanted to dip my toes in the tattoo business and that was what I did in 2018, though ups and downs until ultimately concluding that the industry does not resonate with me, ending my tattoo services in 2024.
Despite working in the tattoo business, I’ve always done commissioned work - tattoo pieces (for people that wanted my art, but couldn’t travel to get inked with me), artworks meant for prints and stickers, personal use and character art for Monster Tiles.
Since then I've been juggling private client commissions and passions projects alone and with small teams (in the gaming field).
I have since realized that bringing your characters to life and helping projects flourish, is what brings me joy. As someone who’s never satisfied or settled with whatever skill set I might have, always chasing growth and development.
Being a part of passion filled projects, having the privilege of being chosen to bring visions to life and being entrusted for that task is beyond fulfilling.
I will forever be grateful to all who seek my art, present me with greater challenges and ensure my growth.
